The Forbidden Forest

Amos: I thought for a second, "Royalgrove Point. We can research there and find where it could have gone. They have a private library there if we absolutely need to use it." I wouldn't be using the library, but Echo might want to. I didn't trust books or anything else that you could find in a library. I preferred to interrogate, and even then I had to be sure that it wasn't false information.

Echo: I nodded. "Good. Then we take our leave." I took Amos's hand into a good grip. "Hold on tight," I mumbled and proceeded to Disapparate to Royalgrove Point.

Levi: "Well, fine," I sighed. "I've seen quite a few things that could have belonged to people, you're really lucky I have a good memory, too, because I think I'll be able to find my way to all them again." I said, wondering where to start. "Wait, were those other people looking for the same thing?" I asked, connecting that together, finally.

Gabriel: I shut my eyes frustrated and opened them before Levi noticed. Maybe it had been a bad idea to let this girl help us. "No actually," I lied. "They were looking for something else."

Levi: I nodded. "Alright, I was only wondering because I've seen something in the area where you were all standing, before," I told them, starting to walk south a little. "What kind of special thing is it? Like jewelery or something?"

Gabriel: My eyes lit up with hope. I cleared my throat to say, "Yes. It is." I followed Levi and glanced back to Belle with a light smile. This could be it.

Bellethiel: I followed Levi and Gabe quietly. Everything seemed too quiet. I couldn't hear anyone else in the forest, and they would have to be close if they were here at all.

Levi: I crouched down as I spotted the log I'd decided to use to mark the spot I'd seen the 'artifact' (as I'd affectionately called my finds). I searched through the mossy overgrowth for a moment before spotting the faded metal of the large necklace I'd found here. I picked it up and showed it to Gabe. "Is this it?"

Gabriel: I frowned. "Sorry, no... It's... um... a bit smaller." I felt like we were playing charades. I grinned.

Levi: "Oh, alright," I nodded, standing up. "So, why is it you can't use a summoning charm?" I asked, starting to walk again, toward the next spot.

Gabriel: I continued following Levi. "Well it's protected with charms... Like I said, it's pretty important."

Levi: "Alright," I nodded. "Well, that makes sense I guess.... was your grandfather paranoid or something?" I asked, as we continued walking.

Gabriel: I laughed putting a picture into my mind. "Very!"

Levi: "I can tell," I nodded, walking slowly. I stopped as we reached a tree, and I reached my arm inside the hole that went to the base of the hollow trunk, frowning when I didn't feel anything at the bottom. "Well, that could have been it, except it's gone,"

Gabriel: "What was it?" I asked my brows furrowing. I peered at the hole of the tree.

Levi: "A very strange ring," I said, thinking. "It had a large crack down the middle, and it looked very old,"

Bellethiel: I gasped quietly and inaudibly. That had to have been it!

Gabriel: "Gold with a black stone?" I asked my voice draining of energy.

Levi: "Well," I thought for a moment, trying to completely recall the way the old ring had looked. "Yeah, I think that's exactly it," I nodded finally.

Gabriel: "They took it..." I couldn't keep the words from spilling out of my mouth. I paid it no attention though as I turned back around to Belle.

Belle: "We need to find them." I mouthed.

Gabriel: I nodded and turned back to Levi. "Thanks very much for your help, but we have to go seeing as it's not here. You'd better be getting back to Hogwarts too..." I took a step back toward Belle.

Levi: I narrowed my eyes at them. "I'm not going back, not until you tell me what's going on,"

Gabriel: I frowned and looked to Belle for help.

Bellethiel: "You can do whatever you want. We need to go. We're racing time now."
