Main Square

Amos: I landed roughly on the cobblestone main square of Royalgrove Point. I looked around, we were in a large crowd, which was unusual for RG (as it was called by the locals). I scanned the crowd. I knew many various people in RG, and was hoping to see a specific (and I use the term lightly) friend.

Echo: I stayed close to Amos fearing getting lost in the crowd. So many people... Made me a bit dizzy. I was about to question Amos about what exactly he was doing, but I noticed that he was searching for something. I wouldn't be of any help. I had never been here anyway.

Amos: I spotted a figure hidden in the shadows of a nearby alley and walked over to him. "Vehiron." I said quietly.

Vehiron: "You really know how to make an entrance, don't you Amos?" I asked, smirking. "Could you have picked a more conspicuous meeting place?" I muttered quietly.

Echo: I stood next to Amos silently and scrutinized the one called Vehiron. He seemed familiar but I did not remember him particularly. Figures with my attitude toward human social interaction.

Amos: "Plenty," I retorted. "The more people, the less likely that we are noticed." I moved farther back in the alley. I waited until he had followed me, "It wasn't there," I muttered so that Echo couldn't hear.

Vehiron: "That makes sense," I muttered sarcastically, following him further into the alley. "Not there? What do you mean not there?" I hissed, keeping my voice low. "We spent years searching for that lead, Amos!"

Amos: "It was there. It disappeared." I glared at him, he didn't need to tell me how long we had been looking. "We'll find it again..."

Echo: I was leaning against the wall glaring at them. So secretive, I'd had enough of it. I walked over to them for they had moved away. "Keeping secrets again Amos?" I interrupted.

Vehiron: I raised my eyebrows as the girl who had come with Amos came over and interrupted. "Well, someone's a little afraid to be left in the dark if he is keeping secrets, aren't they?" I asked.

Echo: I narrowed my eyes at Vehiron. "Beware of silent dogs and still waters," I said with frigid words and steal eyes.

Vehiron: "I'm afraid I didn't catch your name," I said simply, ignoring her comment.

Echo: I raised one eyebrow slightly with a half smile. "Echo. And I caught yours of course."

Vehiron: "Yes, I did notice you sticking around before, are you just following Amos around?" I asked, smirking.

Echo: I was glaring again. This guy was really setting me off. I had a feeling he was enjoying this too. "Do you have a death wish?"

Amos: I stepped between the two of them, "Calm down, both of you."

Vehiron: I glared at Amos. "I don't believe I've ever taken orders from you," I muttered warningly.

Echo: "Whatever..." I stepped away.

Amos: "Then perhaps it is time to start...." I warned.

Vehiron: "Ha!" I snorted. "Not likely, Amos, my friend,"

Amos: "Shut it V." I snarled.

Echo: I ran my fingers over the edge of my wand and slipped it out quietly. I watched them carefully. I would act if it became necessary.

Amos: I turned away from them and started walking away.

Echo: I hissed. "If we can't manage to get along for more than five minutes none of us are ever going to find the stone."
